MUSINGS & AMUSINGS
The Day After

Not apples, though I have an abundance of them.
My favorite food is the tomato.
Finally, my tomato harvest is about to begin.
How do you like THIS tomato?
Maybe the tiniest tomato in the world, and tastes GREAT!

I love tomatoes. My husband and daughter do not, so I seldom get them. This one looks delicious! xoxoM

We are growing tomatoes though a recent lot of rain caused some to split. That is indeed a tiny tomato.

Yes, I shared them with the children that came by my booth yesterday. I lost so many plants this year and last to fire blight. Whichever plants were left standing, would be planted next season. This is one of them. I think I’ll specialize in micro tomatoes!
Maybe when you are going to have tons of rain, you can pick them green and let them ripen inside. Put them in a paper bag with an apple. 🙂

I ADORE Tomatoes … my favorite thing

Me, too. Even in my makeshift greenhouse, most caught the ‘blight.” I read that these little ‘wild’ tomatoes are not exactly the same as the modern or even other heirloom tomatoes, and more nutritious!
Love them, even more than raspberries! 🙂 This variety is called spoon currant.

I have a few “path Tomatoes” I don’t have a garden but have a plant in a pot outside my front door

I’m thinking that I’ll stick to the micro minis and let the bigger organic farms, in warmer climates sell me their tomatoes. What is the variety outside of your door? 🙂
