I have no idea … but here in Dublin I’d say it’s those who are less educated, have no job, are sick or need help … and yes I do think women around the world loose out

Excellent comment, and I plan a short post to follow the poll.

Such a great, simple quote. I was in Los Angeles during that time (actually I was in a fairly safe suburb, but I wanted to sound tough) and I remember that well.
In the years since, I’ve read a lot about the late Mr. King and seen him on TV, including “Celebrity Rehab.” It really seems like there were two Rodney Kings. When he was sober, he seemed gentle, thoughtful, articulate and kind. And more than that, remorseful for many of the things he’d done. I think it was THAT Rodney King who said “Can’t we all get along.”

Hiya ToughGuy! 🙂
I agree, there were two, at least. Inside that troubled man was a someone as you say. And I agree, it was coming from his heart. I’m sure he ached inside for a better world. I know I do…
It’s that mirror thing. He looked, but chose to handle what he saw in the wrong way. Sad.

I would say children for being denied the ability to be children.

It’s my prayer too.
